Boarding catteries take in cats for a number of reasons: people going on holiday, people neading to care for animals because they have to go into hospital, or because they are in circumstances where they cannont care for their cat
We are a luxury boarding cattery set in Ranskill a beautiful rural location just on the outskirts of Blyth on the B6405 just 3 miles from Bawtry.
As cat lovers and owners it seemed only natural we want to provide cats with the best possible holiday experience.
Right from the start we decided that we would offer a combination of extra large luxury rooms and high-quality care, with the aim that cats enjoy their stay, come home relaxed, healthy and looking good, and allowing their owners to enjoy their own holiday in the knowledge that their cat is enjoying theirs.
We have been awarded with a 5 star rating from both the licensing board and our customers for providing such first class accommodation for your cats.
We invite you to explore our website and see for yourself just how different we are from many other catteries in what we provide and offer. Nothing however compares to seeing it with your own eyes first, and visitors are always welcome by prior arrangement for a viewing.
We currently only have housing for cats.
At White Gates Cattery we provide luxury accommodation and care for cats.
Our Luxury 5 star Penthouse units are much larger than the standard size so you can feel happy knowing that your cat/cats have maximum room when he/she stays here with us.
This building has full view of our pond with waterfall and panoramic countryside view. The bedrooms have a large seating areas for your cats to sit and sleep on leaving plenty of room for them to dine. Each pen has its own individually heater set at 20 degrees so if you prefer your cat to be warner or cooler that is not a problem. The 100mm insulation in the walls also helps to keeps it warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Each room has a lower level providing maximum space for exercise as well as having seating points to enjoy those fabulous views. This has been upgraded this year with more shelves for your cats to climb on. All rooms have a scratch post and toys.
We have excelled ourselves here with both the design and the facilities. I didn't think it possible to improve on the original cattery building that you all know and love but we have. I suppose we had to really to compensate for not having those spectacular views.

In the past we have had a few elderly and disabled cats so we did a lot of thinking about their needs when we designed this new building. We are now proud to say that we can offer accommodation for cats that may struggle climbing up and down ramps, stairs and jumping.
There are 3 extra large family pens that can accommodate up to 8 cats easily. We also have a number of pens that can be made to join together for those cats that like to be with their house mates but also need a bit of me time.
The views are of the ornamental garden (will be completed sept 2020) with bird feeders where your cats will never tire of seeing all the comings and goings of the day.
All rooms have a scratch post and toys.
Our cats are fed morning and evenings with wet food Felix as good as it looks pouches (Kitten or Senior varieties where appropriate). Fresh water and dry food is available at all times. Simular other foods can be supplied on request if prior notice is given.
If your cat is on a special diet for medical reasons please provide us with supplies to cover the length of stay.
On arrival all cats must have their vaccination card with them showing that they are fully up to date with all their vaccines.
Can I please ask that you treat your cat/cats for worms and fleas at least 3 days before arrival. This gives time for the treatment to work and it will also prevent me from any residue still present on their fur.
For any additional cat in any pen £5 per day
Information that I need from you when booking your cat(s) in are as follows;
All days are charged by the day.
e.g. if you drop your cat up at 6.00pm you get charged for that day. This is because I can not rent the pen out as you are due in to use it.
"Day out" fees are charged unless you collected your cat(s) before 11am then no charge will be made for this day as I still have time to sanitise the cabin for the next guest.
Please note that any cat/cats dropped offer or picked up outside of regular opening hours without prior arrangement will incur a £10 out of hours fee.Payments to be made on collection by cash or cheque, collection or delivery by arrangement.
Please note that any cancellation must be notified at least 1 month beforehand, any late cancellation will incur the full charge. Vaccination cards must be up to date please don't forget them when you come.
